Jay Farley practices in the firm’s Construction and Surety Practice Group, focusing on construction litigation.  Most of Jay’s prior experience involved construction defect litigation, representing design professionals, contractors, and product suppliers and manufacturers.  His prior experience also involved products liability, premises liability, road assessment litigation, discrimination, personal injury, and worker’s compensation.  Jay has represented clients in civil matters before the Iowa Supreme Court, Court of Appeals, and District courts, as well as Iowa Federal District Courts.  He has also represented clients in arbitration and mediation.  Jay received his undergraduate degree from the University of Kansas in 2004, and his law degree from Washburn University in 2008.  While attending law school, Jay worked in commercial real estate investment at Principal Financial Group.
