Jeff Stone is a member of Whitfield & Eddy, PLC.  He has an undergraduate degree from Iowa State University in Construction Engineering.  Prior to attending law school, Jeff was a contractor and real estate developer for over fourteen years.  He obtained his law degree from Drake University in 1992, graduating Order of the Coif. His primary practice emphasis is in construction law, including construction defects, delay claims, claims for extra work, mechanic’s liens and contract interpretation.  Jeff has extensive experience in trial and appellate work, arbitrations, mediations, contract review and consulting.  He has presented many seminars and lectures to professional, construction and civic groups throughout the State of Iowa, surrounding states and international locations concerning construction-related legal issues.
