Steve joined the firm in 2001 and has been a partner since 2007. He has handled a wide variety of disputes, such as personal injury, insurance, business, agricultural, banking, and commercial disputes, but his primary area of practice involves construction disputes. He is an arbitrator for the American Arbitration Association’s Construction Arbitrator Panel, a member of the Iowa State Bar Association’s Construction Law Section, a member of the firm’s Construction Law Practice Group, and a member in various residential and commercial construction trade associations. Prior to joining the firm in 2001, Steve worked for two years as a judicial law clerk to Judge Harold Vietor of the United States District Court for the Southern District of Iowa.
