Steve Tyler has been an associate with Whitfield & Eddy since 2006.  Prior to joining the firm, he worked in the construction industry for both union and non-union businesses and operated his own construction company for several years.  In addition to handling general litigation, business, and real estate matters, much of Steve’s practice focuses on construction-related claims involving contractors, subcontractors, material suppliers, homeowners, and sureties.  Steve received his undergraduate degree from the University of Iowa and his law degree from Drake University.  He is a member of the Iowa State Bar Association and the American Bar Association, and has served as co-chair of Whitfield & Eddy’s Associate Professional Development Committee.
