Whitfield & Eddy, P.L.C. is pleased to announce four new Associate Attorneys to the Firm: Amos E. Hill, Taraney B. Olivencia, Jennifer L. Smith and Eric M. Elben. Amos received his J.D. from Drake University Law School in May 2009. He was President of the Student Bar Association from 2008-2009, a recipient of the Martin Tollefson Award for leadership and service to the Drake University Law School in 2009 and also a recipient of the Iowa State Bar Association Graduating Senior Award in 2009. He earned an M.B.A. from Drake University College of Business and Public Administration in 2009. He has a B.B.A. in Finance from the University of Iowa. Taraney earned her J.D. from Drake University Law School, with honors, in May 2009. Her B.A. was from Drake University, cum laude, in 2007. Jennifer received her J.D. from Drake University Law School, with honors, in May of 2009 and her B.A. from the University of Northern Iowa, magna cum laude, in 2006. Eric's J.D. was received from the University of Iowa College of Law in 2009. He was a student writer for the Journal of Corporation Law from 2007-2008. He also has an M.B.A. from the University of Iowa Henry B. Tippie School of Management, 2009. His B.A. is from Simpson College, magna cum laude, 2005.
