Whitfield & Eddy’s product liability attorneys have a broad range of experience in defending product liability matters.  The firm defends self-insured manufacturers and works with insurers and third-party claims administrators in the automotive, construction, industrial, agricultural, meat, poultry and fish processing manufacturers, drug and medical device, consumer products and recreational products industries, to name only a few.  Two of the firm’s members—Robert Fanter and Kevin Reynolds—have served in the prestigious position of Chair of the Product Liability Committee of the Defense Research Institute (DRI).  The DRI is a national organization of some 30,000 defense attorneys, and the Product Liability Committee has in excess of 3,000 members.  Members of the firm have presented at well over two dozen national seminars on product liability topics, and have written and been published extensively in the field.
