Cases and Transactions:
- Greg Naylor directed the efforts of a large client interested in turning away a union organizing effort by IBEW Local #347. Following an intense campaign to educate the company's employees on the potential impact of a union relationship on their employment and the client's business, the employees in the unit voted 77-16 to reject union affiliation. The win was accomplished without the filing of any unfair labor practice charges, not were there any contested ballots in the election.
- Whitfield & Eddy attorneys have successfully directed many union-free election campaigns, including bringing home three successive employer election wins at a large Iowa entertainment complex which had been targeted for union organization by five separate labor unions since its opening in 2000.
