In this day and age where litigation costs can exceed the amount at stake in a particular case, clients are demanding—and deserve—new, lower-cost approaches to dispute resolution. Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) has become increasingly prevalent in the past ten years, and Whitfield & Eddy’s attorneys have kept apprized of advances in this field. The firm has several attorneys who have served as neutrals in mediations and/or arbitrations: Bob Fanter, Greg Naylor, Mark Rice, Anjie Shutts, John Templer, Ben Ullem and David Phipps. Attorneys in the firm also have experience in NASDAQ securities arbitrations, and are familiar with the AAA rules with regard to arbitrations. Whitfield & Eddy’s attorneys also have experience in settlement negotiations and court-sponsored settlement conferences and related services available to litigants at low or no cost in state and federal court.
