Whitfield & Eddy attorneys represent clients in environmental matters in a number of states. The majority of the firm’s environmental practice involves soil and water pollution cases. The firm has substantial experience in representing the petroleum industry and others in underground storage tank and petroleum pollution cases. The firm also advises clients in real estate development and financial institutions in those environmental issues that could impact their decisions. The firm also advises farming interests in their compliance with local, state and federal laws. Various Whitfield & Eddy attorneys are members of the Environmental and Natural Resources Section of the Iowa State Bar Association, and the Environmental Law Sections of the Illinois Bar Association and the Michigan Bar Association. Various firm attorneys are also members of the American Bar Association Section of Environment, Energy, and Resources.
