Overview

Danya M. Keller regularly counsels and represents both employers and employees in employment-related matters. As an advisor to employers and managers, Danya assists clients in ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal employment laws. Danya also represents employees in civil rights matters and in obtaining ERISA-governed employee benefits.

Her background as a journalist makes her an effective researcher and writer who is able to communicate complex legal issues in concise and accessible terms. These skills are an invaluable resource in counseling clients, advising insurance companies on complex coverage issues, and drafting trial and appellate court briefs.

Additionally, as part of the firm’s liquor licensing practice group, Danya advises local and national retailers, manufacturers, and wholesalers on matters related to compliance with Iowa’s liquor licensing laws.
