Overview

When facing changing dynamics or the dissolution of a relationship, clients rely on Kimberly Bartosh’s experienced family law acumen to navigate the process and achieve resolution. She guides individuals and families through complex divorce matters including division of substantial assets, spousal and child support, custody planning, parental alienation, and modification actions.

Kim recognizes that every client and every divorce is unique. Utilizing valuable skills gained while working as a nurse for nearly two decades prior to becoming an attorney, Kim develops a connection with clients and a deep understanding of the nuances of their case.

Much like her background providing medical care, Kim approaches each case with empathy and understanding while maintaining objectivity. She prioritizes listening to clients – what are they trying to achieve, what issues or assets are important to them, where are they willing to compromise – to better advise them and help them reach a resolution tailored to achieving their goals.

During what can be a high-stress period in clients’ lives Kim’s balance of compassion and reason in her counsel helps reduce conflict. Instead of pushing clients in a potentially financially and emotionally draining direction, she partners with clients to inform them of their options, provide sage advice, and empower them to make the best decisions for them.

A trained mediator, Kim practices Collaborative Law, advocating clients communicate to formulate a resolution outside of court. If mediation fails, Kim is prepared to ardently fight for her clients by leveraging the other party into a settlement or in trial, and has an exceptional track record litigating highly contested cases.
