Overview

Jasmine Yant is an associate attorney in the firm's family law, labor and employment, litigation, and real estate practice groups. 

Jasmine received her J.D. from Drake University Law School in 2025, and was a member of the Editorial Board as Associate Editor of the Drake Law Review and was the recipient of the Edwin Earle Ferguson Award for service in the Law School Clinic and other service projects. She was President of the Black Law Student Association, Treasurer of the Youth Law Society, and member of Delta Theta Phi, Drake Law Women, and member of the Negotiations team. While at Drake, she was a Student Attorney at the Polk County Prosecutors Office, Student Attorney at the Drake Legal Clinic Children's Rights Clinic, and Legal Intern at Wells Fargo. Jasmine received her Bachelor of Arts in Sociology and Political Science, magna cum laude, from the University of Northern Iowa in 2022. She was a Fruehling Research Fellow, member of the Deans List for all semesters, and received the Women in Politics Scholarship and the Purple and Old Gold Meritorious Award (Sociology and Political Science). She was active in the Expanding Your Horizons Conference and the Boys and Girls Club.
