Summer Associate Program

Every summer, first- and second-year law students from schools in Iowa and across the country join our highly competitive summer associate program. We seek applicants with exceptional academic records and entrepreneurial spirit who want to build a legal career in central Iowa. The ideal candidate combines intellectual curiosity, a rigorous work ethic, integrity, and a commitment to serving the community.

A summer associate position is an exceptional opportunity to gain a wealth of practical legal experience by working with attorneys across a wide range of practice areas. We encourage summer clerks to explore their interests and passions with us, and we offer an array of seminars, workshops, and social events designed to promote engagement and interaction with our partners and associates.
