Education and background

While attending Drake University Law School, Taylor served as Vice President of the Black Law Student Association and member of Drake Women in Law. She was a Legal Intern at Wells Fargo and a Student Attorney at the Drake University Law School Children's Rights Clinic. In that role, she successfully argued in front of the Iowa Supreme Court in the case of K.C. v. Iowa District Court for Polk County (Case No. 23-0214).
