Recently, member attorney John F. Fatino spoke at the American Bar Association TIPS Fidelity and Surety Law Committee’s 2023 Spring Meeting. The meeting took place at Incline Village, Nevada.
The presentation, "The Equitable Estoppel Defense: Future Applications," dealt with potential defenses available to both general contractors and sureties when claims from subcontractors and suppliers arise. The presentation consisted of case law review and a panel discussion.
