Hill believes that employers are concerned that this bill erodes their ability to achieve what their mission is: to accomplish the business necessities and purposes for which they exist. She said it is a very far-reaching, comprehensive piece of vaccination-related legislation. The legislation goes not only into issues related to employers mandating vaccines related to COVID-19 but also specifically singles out the health care setting and adds a new exemption for philosophical reasons to the mandates for children going to school.
