Recently, the Iowa Supreme Court granted further review of a Court of Appeal’s decision regarding mechanic’s lien rights and the priorities that arise from the commencement of work. The decision arose from a bench trial in Linn County. The Court of Appeal’s decision was previously commented on in this news item.
