Kay Oskvig Advises on Proposed and Recent HR Developments

On Friday, June 12, Kay Oskvig presented“Are We in California?? Wild HR Laws in the Midwest” to members of the Association of Corporate Counsel Iowa Chapter at its Annual CLE in Des Moines, Iowa. Kay serves as Chair of the Whitfield & Eddy Law Labor and Employment Practice Group and holds the CIPP/US designation.

The presentation covered a wave of new laws and proposed legislation across Illinois, Minnesota, Kansas, Missouri, Nebraska, and the Dakotas. These new laws and potential changes are rewriting the rules for employers doing business in the Midwest.

In the session, she provided corporate counsel a practical roadmap on topics including:
