Anjela Shutts Named to 2024 Iowa Child Support Guidelines Review Committee by the Iowa Supreme Court

Divorce and family law attorney Anjela Shutts was named to the 2024 Iowa Child Support Guidelines Review Committee by Chief Justice Susan Christensen of the Iowa Supreme Court on June 14, 2024. The 16-member committee includes members of the bench and bar from across the state of Iowa and the Iowa Department of Health and Human Services.

The committee is tasked to review current Iowa child support guidelines and submit a final report to the court on or before April 1, 2025 including findings and recommendations for the courts.

Anjela established a practice representing individuals and families in family law matters since she joined the firm in 1996. Her focus is on domestic relations and she has assisted in complex dissolutions involving business owners, highly compensated executives, high net worth individuals and families, as well as highly contested custody matters. She served as President of the Iowa State Bar Association in 2021 – 2022.
