Bryn Hazelwonder Named 2026 Iowa Defense Counsel Association Rising Star
Whitfield & Eddy Law member attorney Bryn Hazelwonder received the Iowa Defense Counsel Association's (IDCA) Rising Star Award on September 10, 2026 at the IDCA Annual Meeting and Seminar.
The IDCA is the trusted professional voice for the defense of civil litigants in Iowa. Founded more than 50 years ago, the organization brings together lawyers and claims professionals who handle claims and defend legal actions across the state. The IDCA works to provide education to organizations and individuals and support policies that ensure a fair and effective civil justice system. Each year, the IDCA presents the Rising Star Award to a member who has shown extraordinary commitment and leadership within the organization.
Bryn is active in her service to the IDCA, serving as a member of the Board of Directors and the Membership Committee since 2023. Bryn received the IDCA’s Edward F. Seitzinger Award in 2025.
