Katelyn Kurt To Teach Family Law at Drake University Law School

Family law attorney Katelyn Kurt will be the Adjunct Professor of Law instructing the spring 2025 Family Law class at Drake University Law School in Des Moines, Iowa.

The class of nearly 30 will explore the introductory parts of family law in the state of Iowa and across the country, learning crucial information for the Uniform Bar Exam, including the examination of rights and obligations from the status of marriage and its dissolution, as well as rights and responsibilities associated with child custody disputes, guardianships, adoptions, and modifications. The law school is nationally recognized for its family law, trial advocacy, and legal writing curriculum.

Kurt is an Associate Attorney and co-chair of the Whitfield & Eddy Law Family Law practice group.
