Oskvig Represents Iowa at ABA Annual House of Delegates Meeting

Whitfield & Eddy member attorney Kay Oskvig is an elected representative of the American Bar Association (ABA) House of Delegates. The House of Delegates is the ABA’s governing body. The House of Delegates meets twice each year, at the ABA Annual and Midyear meetings.

At the 2021 ABA Annual Meeting, Oskvig represented Iowa at the two-day House of Delegates meeting. In addition, she attended several special presentations, including a panel featuring past female ABA presidents entitled Women in the Legal Profession: Progress and Remaining Challenges.

Oskvig was appointed Iowa’s first Young Lawyer Delegate in 2019, and elected the following year for a two-year term from July 2020-June 2022. In her capacity as a voting Delegate, Oskvig analyzes and votes on resolutions, officer roles, and other ABA governance matters. Oskvig encourages law students and Iowa attorneys to contact her about ABA membership, ABA service, or resolutions that impact their personal and professional lives.
