Whitfield & Eddy Law Welcomes Madison Joyce
Whitfield & Eddy Law is pleased to announce that Madison (Maddie) Joyce has joined the firm as an associate attorney in the labor and employment practice group, where she will work with clients in closely-held businesses, including a focus on construction and transportation industries.
Maddie earned her Juris Doctor with distinction from the University of Iowa College of Law in 2026, where she received the Jurisprudence Award for Academic Excellence for Higher Education and the Law. While at Iowa, she served as a Student Writer and later as Senior Note and Comment Editor for Volume 51 of the Journal of Corporation Law. Her note, "Rethinking Overtime: The Fluctuating Workweek Method No Longer Works," was published in the Journal's Summer 2026 edition. She earned her undergraduate degree from the University of Iowa in 2023.
